Young people who are recovering from alcohol and
other drug problems are everywhere - in our
high schools and colleges and communities and workplaces and families. Part two
of the “Teens Using Drugs” series concludes with a young person in recovery
sharing his or her story – how it was, what happened, and how it is for them
now; sharing his or her experience, strength and hope in recovery; showing by
example that young people with the disease of addiction can recover and lead
happy, healthy, productive, responsible lives.
We are
very grateful to the young people who agreed to share their stories below, and
we hope you enjoy reading them!
