Directions to the Workshop Site
The “Teens Using Drugs: What To Know and What To Do” workshops are presented at the St. Joseph Mercy
Hospital Education
Center, located at 5305
Elliott Drive in Ypsilanti,
Michigan. All workshops are presented in either
classroom EC-4, classroom EC-3, or in the auditorium. There will be signs
placed at key points in the building, directing you to the location.
Directions to the Education Center
Building and Classrooms
It is best to enter through the EDUCATION CENTER
building located at 5305
Elliott Drive. We will place
signs in the Education
Center building directing
you from this entrance to the location of the workshop.
The hospital campus is circled by Elliott Drive
(south side) and McAuley Drive (north side.)
All streets leading to the hospital campus connect with either Elliott Drive or McAuley Drive.
If you enter the campus onto McAuley Drive, follow it
around to Elliott Drive.
Follow Elliott Drive
to the Education Center
building at 5305
Elliott Drive (between the Emergency Room and the Family Birthing Center.)
There are signs in front of each parking area that identify what building(s)
can be accessed from the parking area. We suggest parking in parking area
"P" and entering the Education
Center through the front
entrance of the 5305
Elliott Drive building.
For classroom EC-3 or EC-4: Enter the Education Center through the front door at 5305
Elliott Drive. There are elevators and stairs on the left side of
the lobby. Take the elevator or stairs to the second floor. Turn left, and
proceed down this hallway towards the Education Center
classrooms. Turn left at the first hallway on the left; go through the double
doors and proceed about half way down this hallway. Classroom EC-4 is on the
right side of this hall. For classroom
EC-3, continue down this hallway – it will bend to the right. Classroom EC-3 is
straight ahead after this bend, at the end of the hallway, just before it bends
to the right again.
For the auditorium: Enter the Education Center
through the front door at 5305
Elliott Drive. Go towards the elevators on the left, then go
straight down the hallway ahead. Turn left at the first hallway on the left; go
through the double doors and proceed down this hall to the auditorium. The auditorium is at the end of this hall, on
the right.
Maps to the Education Center
There are several ways to get to the Education Center from major highways and
surrounding areas.

Mercy Hospital

It also provides a link to MapQuest, where you can access driving directions
from your area. PLEASE NOTE: the
maps lead you to the St. Joseph
Mercy Hospital
campus, at 5301 McAuley Drive. It is best to
enter through the EDUCATION
CENTER building located
at 5305
Elliott Drive. Elliott
Drive is connected at both ends in a half-circle
with McAuley
Drive. We suggest parking in parking area
"P" and entering the Education
Center through the front
entrance of the 5305
Elliott Drive building. (All buildings on the hospital campus
inter-connect, but it may require a long walk and be difficult to find the Education Center from the other buildings.)
