The “Teens Using Drugs:  What To Know and What To Do” workshops are presented at the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Education Center, located at 5305 Elliott Drive in Ypsilanti, Michigan.  All workshops are presented in either classroom EC-4 or in the auditorium. There will be signs placed at key points in the building, directing you to the location.

Directions to the Education Center Building and Classrooms

It is best to enter through the EDUCATION CENTER building located at 5305 Elliott Drive.

The hospital campus is circled by Elliott Drive (south side) and McAuley Drive (north side.) All streets leading to the hospital campus connect with either Elliott Drive or McAuley Drive. If you enter the campus onto McAuley Drive, follow it around to Elliott Drive. Follow Elliott Drive to the Education Center building at 5305 Elliott Drive (between the Emergency Room and the Family Birthing Center.) There are signs in front of each parking area that identify what building(s) can be accessed from the parking area. We suggest parking in parking area "P" and entering the Education Center through the front entrance of the 5305 Elliott Drive building.

For classroom EC4: Enter the Education Center through the front door at 5305 Elliott Drive. There are elevators and stairs on the left side of the lobby. Take the elevator or stairs to the second floor. Turn left, and proceed down this hallway towards the Education Center classrooms. Turn left at the first hallway on the left; go through the double doors and proceed about half way down this hallway. Classroom EC-4 is on the right side of the hall.

For the auditorium: Enter the Education Center through the front door at 5305 Elliott Drive. Go towards the elevators on the left, then go straight down the hallway ahead. Turn left at the first hallway on the left; go through the double doors and proceed down this hall to the auditorium.  The auditorium is at the end of this hall, on the right.

Maps to the Education Center

There are several ways to get to the Education Center from major highways and surrounding areas.

The St. Joseph Mercy Hospital web site provides a map with an overview of routes to the Education Center. It also provides a link to MapQuest, where you can access driving directions from your area. PLEASE NOTE: the maps lead you to the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital campus, at 5301 McAuley Drive. It is best to enter through the EDUCATION CENTER building located at 5305 Elliott Drive. Elliott Drive is connected at both ends in a half-circle with McAuley Drive. We suggest parking in parking area "P" and entering the Education Center through the front entrance of the 5305 Elliott Drive building. (All buildings on the hospital campus inter-connect, but it may require a long walk and be difficult to find the Education Center from the other buildings.) Directions to the Education Center building and classrooms are above.
